Joseph Millard (1711-1781), one of the sons of Thomas Millard (1669-1761) was born in Amity Township, Berks County, on November 2, 1711 and died in Union Township, Berks County, in 1781.
Hannah Salter was born in Freehold, Monmouth County, and was the daughter of Richard Salter and Sarah Bowne.
Benjamin Millard was born in 1823 and died at the age of 78 in 1901, in Birdsboro, Berks County, Pennsylvania.

 Crumrine - Cross Creek Twp.
The township of Cross Creek retained its original territory and limits until May, 1806, when a portion of it was taken to form the township of Mount Pleasant; and in 1853 the township of Jefferson was formed from the western part of Cross Creek, reducing the township to its present limits.
Robert Patterson, of Smith township, presided at that meeting, and the law was adopted by all the townships in the county, with five exceptions.
Cross Creek township was a separate justice's district from its erection in 1790 till the erection of election districts, May 4, 1803, when it became embraced with other territory in District No. 3, and so remained till 1838, when the office of justice became elective, and the township an independent district.

 Description of the Geology of Chester County Pennsylvania
A perfectly straight valley, two miles wide on the Montgomery county line at the Schulykill River, and less than one mile wide near the Lancaster county line, separates the northern from the southern townships.
A trap dyke enters from Delaware county at the south edge of the slate belt, and extensive outspreads of trap bowlders occur along the Berks county boundary in the north; other local exhibitions of trap being numerous in various parts of the county.

 East Whiteland Township: Parks & Recreation
The Township building and many of our parks also are located adjacent to the Chester Valley Trail.
A 16-acre recreational facility is proposed for the Swanenburg Property, adjacent to the Chester Valley Trail on Swedesford Road in western East Whiteland.

The Strasburg Landfill is an inactive, 22-acre facility that occupies a valley on a hilly 220-acre tract of land.
The tract is located south of Strasburg Road (Route 162) in western Newlin Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania (Appendix, Figures 1 and 2).
The township is predominantly rural consisting mostly of agricultural and residential properties.

His land was described as lying near "the branches of the French Creek and the Brandywine in Chester County, Pa." In 1725, he was one-third owner of the Coventry Forge, which he sold to a partner on December 14, 1725 for 500 pounds.
His-wife Hannah died in Coventry Township in 1727 and in 1729 he married Mary, who it is thought, was a daughter of Andrew Robeson.
In 1864 the furnace was purchased by Brutley, William, Levi and Horace Smith of Joanna Furnace, Berks County.

John Bailey, Director of the Chester County Intermediate Unit, stated the concept for this issue – the Waltman property consist of fifty-five acres and the Fortugno property consist of ninety-four acres; two buildings with entrance on Baltimore Pike and Sunnyside Road, approximately three hundred students and approximately fourteen buses arriving at that location.
