In summary, Valleyfair is definitely not the "best" of all parks, but it's certainly not the worst (come to the northwest and go to Thrillville USA if you want to see that).
You know I actually LIKE Valleyfair, I much prefer the smaller parks to the larger parks, just because they are so much more manageable.
Next is that I looked at every cedar fair park, and they have way better coasters, especially more that invert or go upside down, compared to valleyfair which only has one coaster that goes upside down, and it is the shortest thing ever.

You know whats ODD about the two press releases by Cedar Fair, one claims (Valleyfair release) that steel venom is going to have a 360 twisting spike, while the Cedar fair announcement says 450 twistiing spike.
Not counting interest on the loans to buy the ride, staffing and maintaining the ride, Valleyfair has to attract more than 212,500 more people spending a combined average of $40 admission and in-park spending.

I just drove by Valleyfair! and didn't see anything going on, but closing day remember their was markings for underground wire and water pipes.
