Lar Gand - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lar Gand, known variously as Mon-El, Valor and or M'Onel, is a fictional character in DC Comics ' universe who is affiliated with the Legion of Super-Heroes, Superboy, and later Superman.
Prior to Valor #12, Gand's history in the Legion was explained thus: the villainess Glorith, who in the new history was acting as the Time Trapper, was attracted to him.
She attempted to undo the damage this caused history by making a duplicate Valor from the Legion's time take his other self's place, but this was unsuccessful.

I created Valor Comics as a place where I could let these stories out." So Ruiz put pencil to paper and began sketching what would become the Jesus Christ: Son of Man trilogy.

 FUNERAL FOR A FRIENDSHIP, or
Chances are, if you created a character or wrote a plot in superhero comics at any time prior to 1980 that was any good at all, you'll find Kurt Busiek has filed the serial numbers off it, slapped a fresh paint job on it, and written a three issue story arc around it...
Busiek frequently complains in interviews that no one in comics is blazing any new trails, but him running the most critically acclaimed recycling mill in the industry isn't exactly breaking new ground, either.
And second, there has never been a fan of comics born who didn't on occasion have something unpleasant to say about some idiot comics writer or artist who was, in that fan's opinion, rigorously screwing over that fan's favorite characters.

Featuring Men of Valor Hands-On Preview at ActionTrip
The difference being that unlike Call of Duty and Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Men of Valor takes place in a different era and is powered by the modified version of the latest iteration of the Unreal Engine.
Similarly to Call of Duty, Men of Valor puts players in the role of a simple grunt, writing letters home to his loved ones and basically just trying to get by in the hostile and brutal environment of North Vietnam.
The first thing I've noticed after playing a couple of the opening single-player missions is that the developers worked hard to make the non-action sequences as down-to-earth as possible, with plain and simple folks talking about mundane things and trying to make the war more bearable.

 IGN: Men of Valor Preview
Men of Valor has been in development for a while now from the same studio that brought us Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.
Men of Valor goes a step farther than 2015 went in previous titles by adding personality to each of the faces and names as well, like Hoss, the big farm boy that seems a little slow, but has a good heart.
The other added twist to the personal nature of the story are some of the racial tensions that are apparent and were a major problem during the time of the war (not to say they're non-existent nowadays) giving many examples in the intro letters and during gameplay both in cutscenes and during the fighting.

Featuring Men of Valor Review at ActionTrip
The biggest difference is that Men of Valor is the first descendant of MoH: AA to be set in the Vietnam War.
So as far as Men of Valor is concerned, the game does a good job of letting the players experience all that the Vietnam War had to offer-from the short and intense guerilla skirmishes in the jungle to a more massive operations involving APCs, choppers and F-4 Phantoms dropping napalm on enemy positions.
Another possible reason why this was the case is that many of the missions are unbalanced in terms of their difficulty and the flow of the action.

Therefore there will no longer be a Valor to be rescued by the Legion in the 30th century, there never will be the united planets, because Valor had not seeded the worlds yet, and there will never be a Legion, since now their source of inspiration is dead before accomplishing his legendary deeds.
There is only one remedy: The SW6 Valor has to take the place of the 20th century original Valor and relive his mission, stop the Dominion invasion, seed the worlds, and enter in the twilight zone for one thousand years of solitude once again.
Due to the fact that Valor from the 20th century is a celebrated religious figure in the 30th century, the Legion keeps Lar's identity secret to avoid Lar being worshipped, and Lar assumes the code-name M'Onel, which in ancient martian language means "the wanderer".

Now that Abadazad will no longer be a comic book but a series of children’s books, the idea is to take the material that we’ve already used and explore it in a whole new-and, we hope, utterly unique-form: a hybrid that combines prose, illustration and sequential art.
J.M. DeMatteis: There’s a possibility that the series could return later in comic book form: Disney, as you probably know, is one of the major comic book publishers in the world (and the addition of the CrossGen properties will only add to that).
You can imagine how disappointed Valor is when he discovers that his Parallel Self isn’t a super-hero at all, just a bewildered loser.

Men of Valor, in development by 2015 ( Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Medal of Honor: Frontline for the Xbox), is a solid, respectable take on the Vietnam War in videogame form.
It takes a war that split the US in two, that was controversial from beginning to and, and a war that the US never won, and provides players with a insightful personal story, a Vietnam War sense of chaos, rage, terror, and fear, and an intensity that's not quite like all the other games.
The Vietnam War, at least on the surface, was a dirtier war than World War II in its nature, environment, and method.
