		The painter Vangjush Mio opened in Korçë the first personal exhibition in 1920.
		With the contribution of the renowned national poet Gjergj Fishta (1871-1940), who took part himself with certain works in watercolours, the first local exhibition was opened in Shkodër in 1923 with the participation of 15 artists from Shkodër.
