 News: Oxford and Cambridge pupils to compete in Mini Varsity Match
Oxford and Cambridge school children will be competing alongside the two University teams in two inaugural Junior Varsity matches, one in basketball and one in hockey, to be held on 29 February and 2 March respectively.
The junior hockey match will be played between selected first-11 players from state schools in Oxford­shire and Cambridgeshire, while the basketball teams will be girls U16 selected from clubs and schools around each county.
By incorporating a junior match we hope to raise public awareness of the Varsity matches and Varsity Games and involve the local community in these traditional events.

It would take 2 pins (or 3 victories) in the 3 remaining matches for Iowa-Grant to pull out a 1-point victory, and Mineral Point was picked to get a technical fall or a pin in 2 of those matches.
Donny was unavailable for an interview, however, and those were JV matches that he was in, so I’m going to add Donny Hughes to the All-Kosek Team at 140, but only to the Junior Varsity.
