	SUNY Canton - VATEA Grant is Funded
		SUNY Canton is pleased to announce that once again it has obtained VATEA (Vocational and Technical Education Act) funds to enhance existing technology programs and implement new academic initiatives for other eligible programs.
		VATEA funds will also be used to purchase the latest in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, and Air Conditioning Maintenance and Repair supplies and equipment to be used for hands-on training for students enrolled in those curriculums.
		Another VATEA project will further develop the existing Equity and Access Program, which is designed to increase the number of female engineering technology students and graduates from SUNY Canton.
