Organic farming is an agricultural approach that avoids the use of synthetic chemicals and genetically modified organisms (GMOs), and follows the principles of sustainable agriculture.
Some organic farming advocates believe that, even if yields are currently lower, these results are obtained without the huge subsidies paid to conventional farmers, and expect yields to be equivalent or higher if organic farming were subsidised to the same level.
Furthermore, some organic farming practices are claimed to do more damage than conventional practices – for instance, the practice of ploughing (see tillage) to prepare soil for planting is claimed to increase soil damage compared to using Roundup, a herbicide.

 Cookery Helper - Vegan
Vegans tend to suffer less from obesity-related illness, cancers, heart trouble, stroke, and diabetes; however, this should not be confused with overall health or longevity of vegan.
The primary ethical argument against veganism attacks the concept of "indirect responsibility" via reductio ad absurdum, stating that it is impossible to avoid all harm: animals are sometimes killed in the process of producing vegan food, whether by accident during harvest or intentionally, as pest control.
Vegans also by and large promote conservationist environmental and energy policies and sustainability agriculture, not least because such policies are seen as steps toward achieving the aims of veganism on a grander scale, in part by reducing the amount of inefficiently mass-produced meat.

Vegan organic gardening aims to produce organically grown foods and other crops whilst minimising (preferably erradicating) the exploitation or harm of any living creature.
Vegan organic farming is similar to organic horticulture but does not allow the use of materials such as blood, fish and bone meal or animal manures because the production of these is viewed as either harming animals directly, or is associated with the use of animals for meat, milk or leisure activities.
If the organic standards were more restrictive and only allowed the use of manure from organic farms, then there would be an even greater scarcity of suitable manure; yet this would encourage the development of plant-based alternatives.
