#Bertuli Diena was a festival celebrated on August 24, commemorated the sowing of rye and the first day of the mushroom season.
Ashes were transported on this day from the homes of one generation, to the newly independent and married couple of the next, usually from the groom's father's fire to the new one.
#Tipsa Diena was a festival held on April 15 to commemorate the beginning of the ploughing of the fields.

Veja can’t ask them to do things that go against their nature, or force them to speak with her if they don’t want to, and often they demand some sort of compensation for their services.
Formally, the oldest surviving Veja of the Valsts line owns the march (unless she passes it on to a younger starseed holder while still living,) but a relative acts as steward if Veja is less than twenty years of age.
There runs a legend that the first Veja was a sailor’s daughter, and for many years her father’s ship cut a course so straight and true the winds he rode must have been blessed, but the daughter died young and the ship never returned to port afterward.
