Vekoma @ Coaster Force - Vekoma
Vekoma was founded in 1926 but has only been building theme park rides since the late 1960s, when they started to build giant ferris wheels.
Vekoma spent the next few years spending very little money on investment and concentrating on their two popular ride models, the boomerang and SLC.
Although Vekoma coasters are usually fun, they are not generally renowned for their smoothness.

Vekoma's first ride was a Giant Wheel, four more have been made since, but they are most famed for their coasters, in particular the equally cursed and blessed Boomerang coaster, which made many parks’ dreams of a multi looping coaster reality.
However, whilst one of their newest rides this year is certainly an innovation for Vekoma themselves, the wooden coaster is certainly not a new concept.
Vekoma have a reputation of building rough steel coasters, so it would always have been interesting to see just how well their first attempt at a wooden coaster would be pulled off.

Looks great to me. Should be fun to see how the progress with this and how many of the SLC's that they eventually get it on.
I'm sure the years of complaining from enthusiasts may have been a factor that motivated Vekoma to engineer a new restraint.
From the looks of it I could almost imagine that it would be possible to do away the over-the-shoulder part and just making it a lap bar/waist restraint.
