Velvet proudly crawled throgh the ropes, posing mightily and gave a wicked smirk and wink at Cagle and then blew him a kiss.
Velvet knew her way around a wrestling ring, be it as a "good girl" vs Wendi Richter, or if you were lucky you saw her Japan tapes where she showed her "villinous" side.
Velvet, in my mind, embodied all that a woman should be, she has beauty, grace, athleticism, speed and was rugged enough to take any punishment that came her way and be able to turn the tables...
For Vancouver's VelvetMcIntyre, wrestling Fabulous Moolah at WrestleMania II was a major letdown.
The Fabulous Moolah was notorious over the years for her control over women's wrestling in North America, and the battles were as much backstage as in the ring for her foes.
McIntyre was athletic as a youngster, always competive and duking it out with her three brothers.
VelvetMcIntyre was able to record a major upset win over the Fabulous Moolah in a match in Australia.
Unfortunately for McIntyre, she couldn't hold onto that magic and lost her Women's Championship right back to Moolah six days later.

The Fabulous Moolah's one-minute pinfall of VelvetMcIntyre for the women's title was pretty sad, too.

Maybe if they had people she could of worked with the story would be different as it takes two good wrestlers to put on a good match.
The best years in the WWE for women where in the 1980s when they had Leilani KAi, Judy MArtin, The Jumping Bomb Angels, Wendy Richter, VelvetMcintyre, etc. these women were mre creative than any women we have had since.
They main evented shows, they showed new and unusual moves for the times, Judy Martin for example was the first wrestler in the WWE to use a powerbomb.
VelvetMcIntyre, Rockin' Robin, The Fabulous Moolah and Jumping Bomb Angels defeated Judy Martin, Dawn Marie, Sherri Martel, Lelani Kai and Donna Christanello
Brutus Beefcake, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Ricky Steamboat, and Randy Savage defeated Hercules, Danny Davis, Ron Bass, Harley Race, and The Honky Tonk Man
