He is survived by his children, Joseph (Denise) Ventimiglia of Macomb Township, Dolly (Terry) Childress of Clinton Township and Teresa (Phillip Morrison) Ventimiglia of Vicksburg; sister, Grazia Orlando of Italy; brother, Joseph Ventimiglia of Shelby Township; and grandchildren, Gary, Eric and Laura Ventimiglia, and Joshua and Tyler Childress.

The town hall in Ventimiglia had three flags flying: the Italian national flag, the EU flag, and a vertical tricolour of green-red- blue.
The central red stripe had a device in white, but unfortunately there was no wind on the day of my visit and I was unable to distinguish the design of the central emblem.
I presume this must be the municipal flag, and a rampant lion appears on municipal rubbish bins, etc., so the emblem on the flag *may* have have been a rampant lion - but that is only speculation.

Besides the wonderful produce, there is also a great fish and seafood section, selling arguably the best fish on the Riviera.
