	Push to amend Ventura Boulevard plan gains steam - Los Angeles, California - Special Report: Quarterly Real Estate Los ...
		Growing numbers of San Fernando Valley residents and property owners are lobbying Los Angeles City Hall to require all landowners along Ventura Boulevard to pay for the $214 million in infrastructure improvements called for under a development blueprint approved in February 1991.
		That plan, formally known as the Ventura/Cahuenga Boulevard Corridor Specific Plan, requires the entire $214 million infrastructure tab to be picked up by property owners who developed their sites after November 1985, and those who develop their Ventura Boulevard properties in the future.
		Under the specific plan, Ventura Boulevard landowners who have developed properties since November 1985 are assessed fees based on the number of daily auto trips their properties generate.
