BBC NEWS | Politics | Sketch: Kilroy unveils the truth
Robert Kilroy-Silk's new political party, Veritas, is not just a vehicle for the former chat show host's ego, a one-man party, created in his image.
The East Midlands MEP was on characteristically bullish form on Wednesday morning at Veritas' official launch in Westminster, as he locked horns with a sceptical press pack, by turns smiling, bullying, charming and blunt.
Veritas would not be targeting BNP voters, he argued, with its strong line on immigration, it would be attracting support from across the political spectrum, particularly disaffected former Labour voters.

At the same time, anti-slavery Whigs and Democrats were segregating in state politics, and the issue of excluding slavery from the new territory acquired from Mexico afforded a golden opportunity to unite all anti-slavery men on the principle of the Wilmot Proviso (1846).
We find continual disputes as to the necessity for theanimus injuriandi and the applicability of the plea of veritas convicii, which arose from the fact that the courts were not always conscious that they were dealing with two actions, to one of which these notionswere applicable, and to the other not.

United Kingdom Independence Party - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The central aim of the party was to seek the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.
The new party attracted many from the anti-European wing of the Conservative Party, which was split on the European question after the pound was forced out of the European Exchange Rate Mechanism in 1992 and the struggle over ratification of the Maastricht Treaty.
One of UKIP's political goals is to break the pro-EU consensus among the three established parties, and prevent the introduction of the euro and the adoption of a European constitution.

Furthermore, when the Conservative Party, which is the second largest political party in the country, brought the issues of immigration and the destructive effects of immigration to the agenda, it drew the wrath of the other opposition parties, and also the Liberal Democrats were accused of racism by the extreme leftists.
One of them is extreme-left Respect Party, headed by George Galloway, and the other is the extreme-right Veritas Party, where racist leader Robert Kilroy-Silk, is the only man. Galloway conducts politics based on minorities neglected by the government and has particularly succeeded in gaining the support of Muslims involved in reactionary politics.
However, politics bearing fruits that, on one hand, racism is being expressed under the canopy of democracy, and on the other, the unhappy Muslims are being used as tools for the domestic politics, would make the possibility of digesting Turkey that is waiting at the EU gates, very difficult.
