He also has a pet crow, called Vermithrax after the Grand Wizard, who carries messages to and from the Dwarfs of Stonebridge or the Elves of the forest.

I think your problem is you're typing blank lines between paragraphs (like a web page), when in fact new paragraphs should be indicated with a paragraph indent of about 1".
It is merely a block of 10pt text, which I managed to squeeze in the events of the story.

Vermithrax, Yaztromo's crow, not the Grand Wizard of Yore, is a seemingly loyal servant of the old wizard and yet when encountered in Forest of Doom he is trying to raise the 30 GPs necessary to turn him back into a human.
Who founded the school in the forest - Erridansis Whitewolf or Vermithrax Moonchaser - or were there two?
FF1: Why were the cards and gloves important to Zagor (I assume the Eye was an unfortunate side effect of his unnatural birth, but these might have a different explanation)?
