		Lynn was born October 4, 1956 to Roy and Lillie Jackson in Evansville and was a 1974 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School.
		Holly Robb, 20, daughter of Dale Robb and Patsy Hanson of Mount Vernon, died November 13, 2007, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

		Jami Stallings, 20, of Evansville, was crowned at the conclusion of a three-day pageant at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza in Merrillville, Ind., according to a press release from the pageant.
		Stallings was so convinced that the runner-up, Megan Bailey of Indianapolis, was going to win, that before her name was announced, she turned to Bailey and said: âHave a great time at Miss USA,â according to her mother, Anne Heinrich of Newburgh.
		Stallings, a junior at O'More College of Design in Franklin, Tenn., began training in September, exercising two to three hours a day and eating âa very healthy diet,â Heinrich said.

		Vernon is survived by daughters Amber Vernon of Goldsboro, Debra Vernon of Pikeville; son Michael Eugene Vernon of Silver Springs, Md.; sister Alma Louise Miller of Pikeville; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
