	AFI (band) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		After reuniting to perform a very successful live show, the members decided to drop out of college and play in the band full-time.
		Their second album, Very Proud of Ya, was released in 1996 by the Nitro Label, after which their bassist Geoff Kresge decided to leave the group for personal reasons.
		Their current bassist, Hunter Burgan, formerly of The Force (and currently, also doing the side projects of The Frisk and Hunter Revenge) filled in for Kresge for the tour in support of Very Proud of Ya.

		Very seldem do the history books indicate that fls and Native americans intermarried amoung each other,they were called Maroons.
		I felt all alone, now I know there are others that are like me.(African-American/Native- American) And very proud of both cultures that are in me. I have wanted to reach out to this group for years and recently started an online book/craft/art store that focuses on just this population.

		Most of the lyrics are still serious and of course self-depreciating, but there is a hint of humor thrown in here and there to even things out.
		Even though very proud of ya is different than later releases it doesn't mean that it is inferior, in fact it's better than almost all their other cd's (with the exception of shut your mouth and open your eyes).
		Very proud of ya is just bursting with energy which is very good if you had a bad day and you need something to forget about it just pop it in your cd player and put the volume up as much as you can and enjoy the ride.
