		I would expect to have to use care while operating a chainsaw, but a vice should be pretty much a non-issue, not something you have to be careful with.
		I heartily side with those who criticize the Regal and resent being blamed for their "operator's error", for not inserting the hook "properly", for not being "careful", etc. Man, I have four vises and with none of them do I have to worry about them spitting out hooks.
		In the Regal jaws it might look like a small hook is all the way in when it is not.

		Maybe the jaw edges of a Regal are not flat enough causing the hook to look all the way in when it isn't.
		The vice held while I was attaching the thread, but let loose under the weight of the bobbin.
		I'm sure that Regal doesn't want to admit any design flaws in the vise for obvious legal reasons; but it does tend to make one wonder when all these very experienced tiers complain of the same problem with these vises.

		Have 1996 unraced vice regal mare that we bred out of a mare that placed as two yr old and won twice and placed once as three year old.
