The Vimy served with Royal Air Force in the Middle East from 1919 until 1925, when it was replaced by the Vickers Virginia, and in Northern Ireland until 1929.
The Vickers Vernon transport and Vickers Virginia bomber were both developed from the Vimy.

Among the earliest designs of Vickers Ltd (Aviation Department) was the EFB (Experimental Fighting Biplane) pusher of 1913, which led to many more army pushers, including the FB5 (Fighting Biplane No 5) and the improved and faster FB9.

The list showing the children of Thomas Vickers differs considerably from my information which is that the children of Thomas Vickers and Rosanna Grubb included: Ebeneezer, William, Sally, Frank, Thomas, Nimrod, Charles C., Robert, Joshua, Rachael and a daughter referred to as "Sis" but whose name I don't know.
