		Tracy Cardwell told a Superior Court judge Thursday she delivered her 4-pound baby girl on a toilet at her job in Woodbine, then left it in the water, where co-workers later discovered it.
		Cardwell, 32, accused of murdering her newborn child on October 1, 1996, pleaded guilty to manslaughter, and now faces a lighter prison sentence in exchange for her plea.
		The boy’s mother, Vicky Johnson Carlson, allowed her son to spend the weekend alone with Wellman at Wellman’s home on Prospectors Court in Hope Mills.
