Victor Argo (November 5, 1934-April 7, 2004) born as "Victor Jimenez", in New York City was an actor who usually played the part of the tough bad guy in the movies.
Shortly before his death, Victor realized a lifelong dream of acting on Broadway when he was cast as "Santiago", the owner of a cigar factory, in the Pulitzer Prize winning drama "Anna in the Tropics".
Victor Argo died in New York City on April 7, 2004 from complications of lung cancer.

But just because you don't know his name, that doesn't mean you don't know Victor Argo, and though his passing will not get much mention in the news, he will be sorely missed.
A perfect example of this side of Argo was in Ghost Dog when, after being chastized for shooting a cop because the cop was a she, Argo debates that his cohort is a "male chauvinist pig." Good times.
Argo probably has more lines in this one than any other flick, and watching him gab with his ole pal Harv is truly a joy to watch.

Profane, action packed, and filled with unforgettable performances (Walken, Caruso, and Laurence Fishburne are incredible), Abel Ferrara's King of New York is hypnotic from it's first frame to final shot, and the action scenes are pulled off better than most major budget pictures.
