  Victor Suvorov
Victor Suvorov (Ви́ктор Суво́ров; real name Vladimir Rezun : Влади́мир Богда́нович Резу́н) (born April 20, 1947) was a Soviet spy of Ukrainian nationality who had been working for GRU and then defected to Great Britain in 1978.
Suvorov's most significant claim was that Stalin had been preparing a great invasion of the whole of Nazi-occupied Europe, set to begin in July 1941 (most probably on July 6).
The Suvorov theory found the group of fans and the group of opponents was subject of flamed discussion, partly thanks to its political implications.

Viktor Suvorov - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Suvorov's most significant claim was that Stalin wished to extend Socialism in one country to all of Europe, set to begin in July 1941 (most probably on July 6).
They insist that, while Suvorov is correct in discerning Stalin's true plans and exposing the huge hardware potential of the Soviet military machine, he unreasonably dismissed the traditional arguments about problems claimed to plague the Red Army—poor leadership after the purges of 1938 and low morale.
Suvorov cites Soviet attitudes towards Romania as an example of this; although the Ceauşescu regime maintained an aggressively independent stance towards the Soviet Union for many years, no invasion took place such as were launched against Hungary in 1956 or Czechoslovakia in 1968; because, Suvorov claims, no Soviet citizen envied the Romanians.

In spite of rigid Soviet censorship, Suvorov has succeeded in digging up many nuggets of valuable information from publicly available Soviet writings that confirm his central thesis.
If you have not read yet this book I envy you - you are about to read the most interesting, the most brilliantly researched and the most sensational book on the most important event of 20th century and how it was camouflaged into something completely different for after-war public consumption.

(ISBN 0241126223; Viking Press/Hamish Hamilton; 1990) - by Victor Suvorov (Russian title: Ledokol, Ледокол) is a documentary book, which alleges that the World War II started as a result of Joseph Stalin's ploy to "liberate" the working class of Europe and eventually of the whole world.
The reason why World War II took a different course was, according to Suvorov, because Hitler, scared by endangerment of Romanian oil fields, invaded the USSR two weeks earlier than Stalin planned to invade Germany.
Suvorov's thesis that the Soviet invasion had been imminent is not shared by most historians, see Victor Suvorov article for more information about this controversy.

Sadly, the "Americans" or American people, ostensibly the victors in WWII, have emerged as much the losers as their vanquished German foes, for all the tricks, subterfuges and shills learned and perfected by the Allies inventors and formulators of the nearly totally successful Allied policy of re-education (i.e.

But he would not risk the danger of launching a war against Germany (as Suvorov has it) as a step toward world domination, unless he could be sure that Hitler was going to attack him.
No spy had reported to him that it was disinformation, and his false image of Stalin was that of a fearless daredevil, ein Wagehals, as much in love with war as Hitler was.
If Victor Suvorov published a book in the 1990s about how Stalin had intended to attack Germany in July 1941, certainly Churchill's disinformation was not implausible to Hitler in the early 1940s, shortly after Churchill defined Stalin's Russia as a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.
