The line is equipped with an automatic train operation system (ATO); the train operator (driver) needs only to close the train doors and press a pair of "start" buttons, and if the way ahead is clear the ATO will drive the train at a safe speed to the next station and stop there.

A new sequential fuel-injection system improved the performance of the 302 V8, which was now rated at 150 horsepower.
While the 1992 Crown Victoria sedan (the LTD name was banished) rode on the same 114.4-inch wheelbase as the '91 model, its body was obviously different.

GREEN PARK - Victoria Line interchange passageway with the Piccadilly Line is/was really long, because it uses the original platform entrance stairways from the lifts, made redundant when they were replaced by escalators in the '30s.
Note that all Victoria Line trains from here are "southbound" but actually run northwest until they reach Tottenham Hale.
In 1984, the northbound Victoria Line platform was destroyed by fire, and was rebuilt to a mid-80s style - very different to what was there before.

Until then, Victoria Line to Victoria, then change to the District is the only tube option.
But we don't even know what the structural damage to the line is yet, as they haven't finished the forensics or moved the train.
On the reasonable assumption the Piccadilly Line is still out of action east of HP Corner, the tube to Victoria suggestion requires you to hump your case down steps at Kings Cross and up again at Victoria.
