	PLS'05 4th International Symposium on PLS and Related Methods
		For that, we analyze the behavior of the two methods for different levels of departure from symmetry (from moderate to severe skewness of latent variables and manifests) and two different types of model misspecification: omission of manifest or latent variables and the use of reflective measurement models for blocks where they should be considered formative.
		Manuel Vilares is, presently, professor and chairman of the scientific committee of ISEGI/UNL-(Higher Institute of Statistics and Information Management of the New University of Lisbon), and Senior Adviser of the Bank of Portugal.
		As previous positions,Manuel Vilares was director of ISEGI/UNL, President of Portuguese National Institut of Statistics and Senior Advisor of the European Comission for statistical and economic matters.
