Divis Slavata of Chlum and Kosumberk (†1575) - an important politician of the Unity of Brethren (Moravian Church - Unitas Fratrum); in 1547 he was punished by the confiscation of his possession because of his participation in the unsuccessful revolt of Bohemian aristocracy against Emperor Ferdinand.
Vilem Slavata of Chlum and Kosumberk (†1652) - a representative of the Slavata family of Hradec's line.
Later he recovered the domain to save Slavata's heritage and when Jindrich Slavata of Kosumberk (the last member of the Slavata family of Kosumberk) was full-aged he handed it over him.

In 1641, the chamber sold it to Vilém Slavata from Chlum - the supreme chancellor of the Czech Kingdom.
It is written in the records of Hradec estates dated 1654 that „… the castle Červená Lhota with the roof covered by tiles stands on a rock in the middle of a pond …“.
The last member of Slavata family was František Leopold and the family then died out on the swort side.

Perhaps first Slavata's owners or still before them somewhen in during of the 14th century the center was completely rebuilt and into its heart was built in square tower with a rounded corner.
In the year 1547 Divis Slavata was punished of the sovereign for attendance at unsuccessful revolt against Ferdinand (he was discharging the function of one from twelve directors) - he lost a part of his possession, Chlum and Kosumberk retained in his vassalage.
In the year 1654 Jindrich Vilem, the last male descendant of this family, died and Kosumberk came into his daughter Johanka Barbora and after her death in three years later by way of her mother Marie Maxmiliana (born Zdarska from Zdar) the domain came into her second husband Frantisek Krystof Hieserl of Chod.

The domain with the same name was taken over by the aristocratic family of Lords of Chlum in 1372 and during the years 1372-1564 the Kosumberk was become the residence of Lords of Chlum and Kosumberk.
In the middle of the square is located the historical Town Hall (from year 1542), which was given as a present by the Slavata family to the townlet of Luze in 1572 as the seat of the locality administration.

From all the descendants of Petr Klucovský, known as the Kamýks from Lstibor, the Klucov fortress had fallen into the ownership of his son Jan and after him and Mikulás from Drazovice, in 1510, Michal Slavata from Chlum, the owner of Kostelec nad Cernými Lesy, had become the owner of the fortress.
After Slavata’s death in 1534, the Klucov goods was transfered to his wife Eliska Pnovská from Sovince for life, later it had become a part of the estate of Kostelec for good.
After the defeat of the Stavovský rising in 1547, Divis Slavata from Chlum and Kosumberk, one of the active participant of the rising, was punished by confiscation of his property.

In 1487 the castle belonged to Bedřich of Šumperk and Talmberk who in 1488 intended to sell the castle to the owner of the neighbouring Rataje estate, Bohuslav of Vamberk.
Following this, all record of Talmberk vanished until 1533 when it is remained as a part of the Čestín estate which was owned by Michal Slavata of Chlum.
At that time the castle was already deserted.
