Vynka (in the orange suit, on his knees next to Yoko) is supposed to be a Vinean, but he's pink, not blue.

Despite the often exotic settings, the stories remain very realistic and friendship is one of the key themes of the series.
The main characters are based in Belgium, although adventures take place around the world and even in the Vinean solar system, 3,000,000 light years away.
There also are a large number of supporting characters (such as Khany the Vinean), including such exotic personalities as aliens and people from the future and past.

So anyone fancying themself for a place in the JWOC team next year needs to get up to Deeside now for some intensive training before the areas are embargoed near the end of September (assuming Scotland's bid is successful)...!
The final of the series is coming up, held up near Pitlochry on 3rd/4th May. The Short race is at Creag Vinean and the Classic at Birnam Hill.
NOC finalists are David Hodkinson, Colin Olivant, Nick James, Alison O'Neil and Sarah O'Neil (also Matt Dickinson and Hilary Johnson from DVO).

 Travel to Dunkeld for ATBA   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-13)
The campsite is the white area under the word tunnel- don't worry- although there is a railway tunnel under the campsite its pretty deep underground and no trains run overnight anyway!!!
The track is based around the track running from under the words Craig Vinean starting near the last 'n' of vinean, finishing after the corner down and to the left of the 'H' in Hermitage
The first freeride downhill type mountainboard event in the UK will take place on this newly built track, designed by Andy Potter's Makintrax crew.
