Viola's commentary on the subjective experience of art can be seen in works such as 'Room for St. John of the Cross' in which a projection of a mountain is accompanied by a video showing a room with a monitor playing a view of a mountain.
Viola's working principle for the video is the feeling of 'via negativa' which is a quest for the unknowable and that which is lost from cognition.
Viola is convinced that the television articulates the inarticulate, is novel and appeals to a larger section of the audience.

When the C clef is found on the middle line of the staff, it is known as the alto clef–used almost exclusively by the viola, and occasionally by the trombone.
When the C clef is found on the fourth line (bottom line is one; top line is five) of the staff, it is known as the tenor clef–often used by cello, bassoon and trombone in the upper registers of these instruments, again to minimize leger lines.
A Clef for the Tenor Voice: In order to minimize the use of leger lines, the clef used for the tenor voice resembles the treble clef, but with the number 8 beneath it.

NWCForum - What is a Tenor Clef?
For example, violas typically when playing as part of a string accompaniment for singing, clarinets playing below the "break", bassoons playing as a tenor instrument, horns most of the time, saxophones most of the time.
Violas get around it by changing clefs, horns and saxen get around it by transposing, bassoons either use leger lines above bass clef, or switch to tenor clef, and clarinets just deal with leger lines, but only ever have one clef to read.
Three leger lined G in bass clef is not difficult to read at all.
