I am not on a crusade against record labels - but I love to see a band step up and fight when they feel they are someone's stooge.
The quality of the recording is on par with the original masters, and some of the songs have been slightly reworked - but not so much that you still would feel the need to buy the original recordings.

Well, anyone who's familiar with XTC's relationship with Virgin Records should be aware of how delicate and strained it became when Andy decided to call the touring off....
It's really just a fantasy, I guess, that Virgin (or TVT, or whoever) would even bother putting this together...but it's a shame that such a cool catalog of art be something that will only be appreciated by those lucky enough to have been around when it came out on 7" vinyl.
I don't know if XTC ever got to know this (I'm not sure, if these nazi records are also sold in Britain, they do extremely well in Austria and Germany), but maybe this was another thing bringing them up against their company.
