Virtual PC emulates a standard PC and its associated hardware.
Main improvements over Virtual PC 2004 is support for hardware virtualization and Windows Vista is now offically supported as both a host and guest operating system (although Vista guests cannot make use of Aero Glass due to the limitations of the emulated video hardware).
Virtual PC 2007 hosts can also run on 64-bit versions of Windows although 64-bit virtual machines are yet to be supported.
