		The Vision and Scarlet Witch's children were then revealed to not be actual children at all: they were fragments of the soul of the demon Mephisto, who had been broken apart by Franklin Richards shortly before the birth of the "twins".

	Collaboration Pro and Con
		There are numerous other ways to explain poor mainstream comics besides the collaborative element— not least of which is the lack of creative control offered to any of the collaborators involved.
		While it may be true that collaborations formed by corporate go-betweens for the purposes of maximizing efficiency and the bottom line don’t often lead to great artistic achievements, this fact has absolutely no bearing on collaborations that result from two complementary creators deciding to work with each other out of mutual respect and common goals.
		And if the writing and the illustrating aren’t operating at the same level, then there’s no purity of vision happening— the disconnect will be just as clear as if it were the result of a bad collaboration.

		“I have telescopic vision” is much easier to say than “I have the ability to detect fine variations over large ranges of the electromagnet spectrum, which I can process similar to sight at long distances” (and doesn’t mean “My eyes have telescope lenses inside of them”).

		In 1999, I wrote an essay for this magazine in which I decried a "Team Comics" mentality, an implied social contract whereby it is asserted that everyone from comics professionals to readers is obligated to help raise the profile and sales levels of the comic-book industry.
		Team Comics members in good standing might buy an extra copy of a comic they believe in, shop only at their local comic-book store rather than seek out the best bargain, give comics for presents, loan them to friends and provide a good personal example through attention to personal hygiene and use of pro-comics rhetoric.
		Team Comics switches between two basic modes of entreaty: duty, by suggesting someone who really loves comics would do his best by them; and self-esteem, where one is flattered into believing he has the power to create a world in which his choice of entertainment reflects favorably upon him.

	Comics2Film: Robot Bastard Review #2
		Schrab uses some very fun techniques and "special effects" to push the violence of the action, including a fun little shot where Robot rips off one of the Mummies arms and shoves it through his Skull, very reminiscent of the skull crushing sequence in The Toxic Avenger.
		I liked this film quite a bit because of its' Troma feel, because of its' Hong Kong feel, because it's a comic book, because there are a few little surprises and none at all.
