DEVIL DOLLS BOOKING - VIVA HATE
By distilling the ingredients of their influences, rather than watering them down, Viva Hate are prepared to carve out their own niche in the ever-growing musical underground.
Viva Hate was formed late in the summer of 2004, shortly after Geoff Kresge had left his previous band, Tiger Army, with the intent to play aggressive music that would incorporate the upright bass playing as a key element of the sound.
The band had fallen apart shortly after the release of the album and Kresge soon after enlisted Mad Dog Chad as Viva Hate's drummer, based not only on his drumming style, but his ambition as well.

Viva Hate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Viva Hate (also known as Education in Reverse) is rock artist Morrissey's debut solo album, released on March 22, 1988.
From the octave dropping electric guitar that opens the song to the guillotine noise that closes it, it is clear that Morrissey's solo work will differ greatly from that with The Smiths.
Although later on Bona Drag he would write and sing pop, from Your Arsenal onward it is clear that Morrissey was interested in a heavier, more rock-oriented sound than he had created with The Smiths, and this trend is established on Viva Hate.

Viva Hate remains one of my favourite albums of the 80's, and is still - as far as I'm concerned - the perfect introduction to the wonders of Morrissey-solo.
As previously noted, the guitar is a standout instrument throughout Viva Hate, with Morrissey employing the talents of the Durutti Column's Vini Reilly, who brings his trademark bouncy-calypso alternative sound to a number of the tracks, most obviously that other great single Suedehead and the acoustic-space-rock epic, Late Night-Maudlin Street.
'Viva Hate' is reissued again- with the same extra tracks as before and the odd live track.
