	Games - Vlaakith
		Vlaakith I was an advisor to Gith and helped seal the pact between red dragons and the githyanki.
		The last queen of the githyanki, Vlaakith CLVII, died after ascending the throne without giving birth to an heir, but returned as a lich, a type of undead, and has ruled the githyanki for over a thousand years.
		The adventure takes place just as Vlaakith is about to ascend to godhood, and if the players allow her to succeed the adventure describes the changes in the campaign world this would effect.

		Vlaakith and a cursed spirit finished off the shield guardian, but we were close to time and I still had an uninjured solar and bodyguard.
		Vlaakith would be able to move onto roof and disintegrate but only by remaining in melee reach of the solar.
		The shield guardian was getting the worst of the tradeoff (not surprisingly since Vlaakith attempted a disintegrate on it and even on a successful save, that's still 30 damage plus ten from the fireball it had eaten earlier) so I moved the solar in to deal with Vlaakith.

		I'm trying to put together a warband with EPIC Vlaakith to test her out and was wondering what you would run with her.
		I'm hoping that she will be able to challenge the current EPIC meta as it is over run with LG and CG warbands such as Bahmant ,Epic storm archer and Epic Tordekbands.
		I'm thinking either teleport temple, field of ruins and hellspike prison would be the idea maps for her to win on.

		If you run Vlaakith at all, you pretty much need those two peices because she relies on paralyzing/auto killing her enemies.
		If Vlaakith is NOT in you may still be doing something right as your opponent is letting her get off her spells which should be very painful.

		Best option here is to either a) force your fodder close to Vlaakith to make her waste fireball or disintigrate on them first, or b) pick the time and place to expose a juicy piece of yours that you can afford to take the hit.

		I ultimately settled on using the Horned Devil, Vlaakith, Orc Wizard, Acheron Goblin, and Greenspawn Sneak, with the Dragondown Grotto map.
		I kept Vlaakith in the trees so I could use the spells while based, and took out the Phoera with an Electrical Orb plus a Battering Ram.
		He had set up the Phoera to be the closest target from the top, but I moved Vlaakith down to the side hallway and got a small sightline to the Sniper, which I promptly Disintegrated.

		Orc wizard does dolores blow on Vlaakith, Zombie are there to base and block ennemies with the Commander effect they hit at +18 for 20 magic, but there main use is to absord dammage (130 hp and fearless) and block so Vlaakith can cast spells.
		Gthiyanki is there to hit and run kill weak piescs and tile grabbers and cone if the chance is there for optimal damamge.
		If Vlaakith hits someone who is adjacent to a bodyguard, does the bodyguard actually also have to make the paralysis save?

		They have been known to attempt to commit genocide if another group try to settle too close to their territories, and are probably the most xenophobic of the gith races.
		While their greatest hatred is reserved for illithids, they hate all other gith races, including the githyanki, who they feel forsook Gith when they allowed Vlaakith CLVII to take the throne.
		In a crew of Gith pirates, the highest-level fighter/cleric is likely to be the leader.

		Overall, I was actually quite pleased with how my band did.
		Looking around I noticed that during the 3rd round, one Vlaakith band was 2-0 while the other was 0-2.
		I was honestly quite suprised that the Pit Fiend did so well but with improved initiative 8 and playing on Tomb of Queen Peregrine he can make great use of his spells.
