On the contrary it is the manifestation of divine grace, the epiphany of the Vodoun faith.

Both Rastafarianism and Vodoun are examples of Christianity and various african religions (My understanding is particularly that of the Yoruban cultures), but with VERY different ways of mixing them, with different emphases, and different goals.
While frequently folks take the somewhat simplified view that a given religion (Judaism and Christianity are frequently accused of this) having "plagiarized" from somewhere else, it seems the nature of religion, mythology, and elements of spirituality in general are part of an ebb, flow, and mixing which cares very little for boundaries.
