		voltan might have a chance if the cub scouts' hands were tied behind their backs and they were covered with bees, but otherwise he wouldn't last five minutes.
		voltan then goes and needles all the other companions -- the elf will get his ears trimmed, the giant is so big and bad and got taken out by a pinch of powder, ranulf is just big pussy, etc., etc. voltan proves quite glib when he's taunting helpless foes.

		The second is called Voltan (or, if you prefer "Vooollllltaaaannn"), who wanders the land burning villages, killing children, and being in league with an "evil wizard." You know that Voltan is the bad guy because he shouts, wears fl, and is played by Jack Palance (a bold casting move, that).
		Early on, Voltan "the dark one" (as he is referred to in hushed tones) kidnaps a nun and locks her in a cage in his tent (his evil knows no bounds).
		Voltan tries to kill Hawk, Hawk "thinks of the sword in his hand, and it is so," and he kills Voltan.
