Volturnus was a tribal river god later was identified as god of the Tiber river.

I closed the shop early yesterday in observance of Volturnalia, in which day-long festivals were dedicated to Volturnus, the Roman god of the River Tiber.
Yesterday, part of the Volturnalia observances included a race at the Circus Maximus.
