Chief of the ministry’s Drug Crimes Investigation Department, Colonel Vu Hung Vuong, warned that drug-related crime along the nation’s borders is likely to mushroom in 2005.
Recent discoveries of large trafficking rings have created a gap in the supply, doubling the street prices of drugs in the country, Vuong said, adding that the huge profits now to be made in the business have actually further encouraged traffickers’ efforts and recklessness.
Colonel Vuong said, apart from enhancing international cooperation and information exchange, it is important to strengthen anti-drug forces in the border areas and on the domestic waterways in order to deal with drug trafficking.

Vuong Vu Ltd Co, based in Ben Tre province and with a branch office in HCM City advertised grandly about the international trade fair to run in Cambodia April 13 to 15 with companies attending from Europe, America and Southeast Asia from.
As part of the deal, Vuong Vu Co arranged to send samples of goods of the Vietnamese businesses by container to Cambodia apparently bypassing official customs.

Under the reign of King Kinh Duong Vuong, the Xich Quy kingdom stretched from the near bank of the Yang Tse Kiang to the southernmost area now called Quang Tri, adjacent to Ho Ton (Champa), including the Yunnan, Kweichow, Hunan, Kwangsi and Kwangtung provinces of China.
Succeeding King Kinh Duong Vuong was the latter only son, Prince Lac Long Quan who married Au Co of the fairy lineage.
