WAAF 107.3 FM is a Boston area commercial Album Oriented Rock/Active rock radio station that mixes music that is popular in the Modern Rock, Heavy Metal and Classic Rock genres.
As a result WAAF was a broad based Album Rock station ranging from the relatively light pop/rock artists (such as Huey Lewis and the News and Phil Collins) to the heavy metal stuff.
WAAF also mixed in some pop music during this period, most notably two of Michael Jackson's hit singles from his Thriller album, Billie Jean and Beat It(featuring Eddie Van Halen on guitar).

WAAF suggested to remedy the situation that OandA have pies thrown at them while being held in town square stocks.
He came to the OandA show when they were on WAAF in Boston and has made subsequent appearances since OandA joined XM, including, most notably, a solo self-penetration performance using a simulated organ in the bathtub.
The duo were fired in April 1998 from WAAF in Boston for an April Fool's Day prank involving Mayor Thomas Menino.
