		Anyone who has listened to public radio knows what a fund drive is. Although some think they can be annoying, interrupting music or news to constantly remind listeners about the drive, they are necessary for the health of a station that is supported publicly and independently.
		Although some of the funds from this campaign will be used for the general upkeep of the station, the main purpose of this year's fund drive is an upcoming conversion of the station from analog to digital, according to Kyle Gebhart, WBGU program director and host of the station's After School Special radio show.
		WBGU is not only valuable to those who work there, though, but also to many students on campus.
