WCAU-TV when it was owned by CBS-TV
Note the "TV 10 - CBS" sign in front of the building.
The street sign on the right says "John Facenda Drive." This still from the WHYY-TV production, "More Things That Aren't There Anymore."

Alan Scott & Bill Hart, Broadcast Pioneers
WCAU's versions (both TV and radio) were daily.
Both versions had something called "The Faithful Fifteen." While the actual number may have varied from day to day, this group was made up of women who trekked to WCAU every weekday morning to sit in the audience of both the radio and TV version.
In November of 1948, WCAU-TV started a new hour long television program called "Homemakers' Matinee." It aired from 2 to 3 pm, Monday thru Friday.

 Gene Crane, a Broadcast Pioneer
I have a Weekly Watch List for August 11th to August 17, 1956 (a Watch List is what a schedule was termed at WCAU.
(We cannot substantiate that the program ever aired in that time period.) However, an e-mail from Charlie Higgins (a tech for many years at WCAU) says that the time was incorrect.
By the way, several TV listings in 1952 thru 1955, all show the program airing Sundays from 12:30 pm until 1 pm.

Vigilante group, TV news channels draw fire for underage sex stings
TV news directors say the ratings week reports, which have been done in several cities around the nation, raise awareness about the growing problem of Internet-based exploitation of children.
The TV news report is hard to ignore: An unsuspecting man goes to a house where he allegedly thinks a teenage girl is waiting to have sex with him, but instead he is met by a TV reporter with a camera and microphone.
Vizi also said the TV crews may not be prepared if the lured men turn violent.

A selection from a decade of visits to tower and studio sites in the Northeast and beyond
When we first visited Roxborough in 1995, WCAU's status quo had held for nearly forty years - it was owned by CBS and operated its FM and TV signals from the 1950s Dresser-Crane tower and the original brick transmitter building shown at left.
WCAU Tower: WCAU-TV (10), WOGL (98.1), WUSL (98.9)
Seeing the advent of DTV on the horizon, and knowing that space would be needed for all those new signals, American Tower put up a new 1256-foot candelabra tower next to the old WCAU tower in 2002.

TVparty: More Philadelphia Local Kid Shows
one year, "TV Time Popcorn" sponsored a name-the-dog contest, both on Willie's show AND on the "Patches" Saturday morning show (another show I didn't see mentioned in your list; I think Patches would sometimes have Chief Halftown on his show too).
I thought that when I turned off the TV to go see the Chief, that the show would be on where I left it when I got back.
I remember getting to see Chief Halftown after bugging my folks to take me to the Buster Brown Shoe Store where he was making an appearance.

 Biography for Richard Lester
A former vocalist who broke into TV as a stagehand and worked his way up to a director (at age 20!), Lester left the U.S. for Europe in 1954 and settled in Britain two years later.
Picking up more work as a TV director, Lester collaborated with Peter Sellers on a hilarious Oscarnominated comedy short, The Running, Jumping and Standing Still Film (1959), which introduced his work to theatrical audiences.
His use of multiple cameras (including handheld ones) and jarring editorial technique won him the approbation of the New Wave's cinematic cognoscenti while irritating the hell out of traditionalists.
