	CAn WMP 10 handle .flac or.shn formats?
		I cannot find a plugin which enables WMP 10 to play or convert these files to mp3 or wma formats.This is a limitation which is making WMP 10 largely irrelevant for me since I must use other applications to play the music files I acquire or to convert them to mp3 or wma.
		If there's a codec, then WMP should play them, and you should be able to transcode them (WMP won't transcode because that's not what WMP does (except for transcoding to PCM before burning to CD), but it shouldnt be too hard to write something that does transcode).
		WMP is a latent application on my pc, but i am happy to give it some disc space to be.

		Actually WMP can be removed and windows keeps working but its about a mother of all bitches to get it off the system and you run the risk of screwing up a few COM registrations in the process.
		What I'm not so sure is how not bundling WMP will help other media players to gain a foothold, which I think is the intention of the decision.

		When look at task manager I mostly see WMP is using the normal thing, but ds uses more then 15%, sometime at 25%.
		so its like WMP uses a lot more when I use it on the other connected screen (I have laptop), but on the other screen the resolution is much lower....
		Resolution will definitely be a factor in CPU usage for WMP as well since it has to render more in detail with high resolutions.
