Called Comcast corporate offices and complained - someone called back and left amessage that they weren't moving WNBC but when I actually spoke to him today he told me that it was being moved and he had no idea if other channels would eventually be moved.
I wonder if this move has anything to do with the age old dispute between networks and cable...of cable trying not to pay the networks for their programming.
First of all the whole DMA concept comes down to arbitrary divisions that were made up decades ago when most people probably still had roof antennas.

The PlayDate is 1970, and the payoff is the loooong version of one of those songs that was SO COOL to play on AM radio back in the day.
