		WB Network, which is an affiliate with WNYO 49 (channel 34-1), is presently not available over-the-air in my area due to the extremly low broadcasting power (0.65kw) that they are broadcasting in.
		I understand that while WNYO will be changing to Grand Island and increasing their output power, it will be directional and I am afraid that I will not be able to view my favourite UPN programming that will be grandfathered onto The CW.
		WNYO is also readily available in Canada on digital cable, so they would have the potantial bigger advertising reach through the Canadian market.

		One of them, CKCO in Peterborough, is smack dab in the middle of the proposed broadcast area of WNYO.
		I notice that WNYO has since (2002) ratified their application to use 167KW.

		I am writing to you in support of Shaw cable and Cogeco cables applications to carry WNYO tv Warner Brothers channel 49 on their systems.
		WB49 is a very popular station with people in my area who own a TV antenna, and I know that people who have a cable system miss being able to see the programing that WB49 offers.
		Unlike FOX 29 from Buffalo, I don't seem to see the repeats of shows on WNYO which as a viewer, is of utmost importance to me.

		You'll recall that Granite Broadcasting intended to add UPN affiliate WNGS (Channel 67) to its ABC powerhouse WKBW-TV (Channel 7) in Buffalo, but pulled out of the deal in May. Now Sinclair is making Buffalo another of its many duopoly markets with the purchase of Grant Broadcasting, which owns WB affiliate WNYO-TV (Channel 49).
		Adding WNYO to its own Fox affiliate, WUTV (Channel 29), seems to make more sense for Sinclair than its original plan from last year, which involved buying public TV WNEQ (Channel 23) from the Western New York Public Broadcasting Authority.
		NERW wonders what will happen now to the rumors that WNYO was planning to partner with one of Buffalo's big three network affiliates for a 10PM newscast, something Sinclair still isn't offering on WUTV.
