		WOWT channel 6 is the first television station in Omaha, Nebraska.
		In 1956, WOWT became the CBS affiliate before returning to the NBC network in 1986.
		The station's transmitter tower is located on a "tower farm" along with two other Omaha TV transmitters near North 72nd and Crown Point.

		WOWT, local NBC affiliate who's tower is right next to it, was damaged as well.
		KETV guy wires did damage to their guy wires, and for a while were laying over the guy wire of WOWT cause the top of the tower to bend.
		WOWT has removed their HDTV antenna and they are still determining if it is going to be necessary to disassemble and rebuild that tower.

		The ICOM is back in service at the WOWT Location.
		He replaced the capacitor again, and the repeater is currently acting normally and available for use.
		The ICOM repeater was in need of some minor repairs so the "old" repeater was put in place at the site provided by WOWT at their downtown facilities.

		Per Warren, they will not have the anntenna in and operational until spring, and are shooting for a 5/1/03 date, but may hit it early if weather permits.
		And the chief engineer at WOWT, Jay Nix, stated on 7/23 that they are targetting a live date of 10/1, and KMTV told him they would be live 11/1 (and KETV would be up 5/1/03, which jives with Warren's comments).
		WOWT NBC, channel 22 is now broadcasting live.

		Part of sweeps at WOWT seems to be a tendency to strain to come up with "unique" angles to stories without realizing those angles are either unoriginal or just plain stupid.
