		Under the agreement with WTVH, Time Warner Cable may carry their digital high definition signal in the Syracuse Designated Market Area (DMA) only.
		Jeff Hirsch, President of Time Warner Cable said "We are glad that we have reached agreements to carry both WTVH in the Syracuse DMA and WIVB in the Buffalo DMA." Time Warner Cable has reserved a high definition channel for WROC-TV for when they are capable of transmitting their channel in high definition format.

	Bring Back the Fairness Doctrine
		One of the times when the FCC did get involved was the case that killed the Fairness Doctrine.
		The station appealed to the FCC, which ruled that WTVH must air the opposing point of view.
		The case was brought to the Washington D.C. Court of Appeals, with Judge Robert Bork, of all people, on the bench, along with then Judge Antonin Scalia.

		Depending on where you are, exactly, you could be in a spot that is "dead" for WTVH but still OK for the others.
		I was also dissapointed in the $200+ HD8200P as it was no better on UHF then the RS was however it did clean up some lower VFH channels.

		While I cannot control was CBS does and I can assure you this episode has caused all of us at WTVH to reexamine how we gather and report the news to make certain we never have a situation like this with our local news.
		I certainly hope that even though you no longer feel you can trust CBS as your source for National news, I hope you can continue to make us your choice for Local news.

		I was really hopnig to have as many DTV channels as possible, including WTVH.
		So, looks like I'm shut out on that one unless WTVH moves back to 5 for DTV later on.
		I'm roughly 20 miles north of LaFayette, and while I was always shocked that I've never pulled in WTVH at more than 95%, it's about the same strength that I've gotten from ABC, PBS, NBC, and FOX (before they broke their transmission line).
