De Wvo heeft wat betreft de RUG betrekking op het lozen van huishoudelijk- en afvalwater afkomstig uit de laboratoria op het gemeenteriool.
Los van de Wvo kan de Wet Milieubeheer eisen stellen aan lozingen in verband met de bescherming van het riool en het tegengaan van de vervuiling van rioolslib.
Voor zowel de Wvo als voor een bouwvergunning geldt een zogenaamde coördinatie regeling met als doel dat bij het opstellen van een Wm-vergunning voor wat betreft de Wvo-vergunning het watercompartiment expliciet betrokken wordt bij de vergunningverlening.

Having "permission" from a restaurant that does not legally own the wvo will not be a defense if you are caught and prosecuted/sued by the grease hauler whose dumpster you are removing wvo from.
Even if there are just drums or cubees of wvo sitting out back of a restaurant it may not be OK to simply take the wvo contained.
High quality wvo looks clear at temperatures above 50*F. It may be from golden colored to as dark as Coke...but if it appears creamy it should not be your first choice.

What I have read here are some people “washing” WVO then using it 100% in their vehicles.
When I fill up I have 17 gallons of WVO in 5 gallon jugs, I use the jug with the 2 gallons in it to start the mixing in.
I have poured unmixed WVO in the tank, you can tell it goes straight to the bottom of the tank without mixing, the fuel pump gets a little louder.

Greasers or WVO cars are started on Diesel fuel, and switched to veg oil after the grease reaches a temperature at which it will flow freely.
Few things about this, I'm using a 10-micron filter for the WVO as all fuel is going through the Stock Fuel Filter (They run $20-$38) and are a 12-micron filter.
As I always do, I wrap heater hose around the WVO Filter that is in line with the heating system.This heats the Filter using the Engine Coolant, costs a LOT less than an aftermarket filter heater, and doesn't take any extra parts, wiring, or toll on the altenator.

As implied by the name, the only difference between SVO and WVO is that WVO is recycled oil, often gathered from restaurants and other trap grease sites.
SVO/WVO is different from biodiesel in that it is not blended with chemicals, and therefore does not have similar viscosity or chemical properties to diesel fuel.
I recently converted my Ford F-250 to run on WVO and have had no problems with cold weather, filtration or the engine.
