		For the year 2000 they've got WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) - an equally irritating and trite album stuck on spewing forth mindless cynicism and boring pop melodies.
		On WYSIWYG, songs like "Social Dogma," "Ladies for Compassionate Lynching" and "The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Jerry Springer" all spout stale political pop melodies, most of which are void of any passion or strength.
		The problem with WYSIWYG is that there seems to be a certain na•vet saturating every aspect of it, and in the band's attempt at being archaic, their cynicism (on just about every pop culture topic imaginable) comes off as corny and meaningless.

		Because it is already 10 days past the end of 2002, I will present "Fengh's list of best 5 albums 2002", before people start to forget that 2002 even existed...
		They are not original, which makes this album even more compelling, because despite of the old cliches and obvious influences of Jawbox and Fugazi, they still sound different from other poseurs of heavy-rock wannabes.
		The soft verse/loud chorus always works for me, but Coldplay took it to another level, making me anticipate every loud bangs and chorus that comes my way, and making me embrace the soft verses that is melodic and dreamy at the same time.

		WYSIWYG displayed a more sketchy, playful, and raw approach to their anarchical criticisms, while it may seem that Tubthumper spoke with a much more subtle and thought-out voice.
		Perhaps this album is what they needed to break out on the big scene in the U.S., and I am thankful for as much.
