	WaRP Graphics - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		WaRP Graphics, later Warp Graphics, was an alternative comics publisher which was most well known for being the original publisher of the Elfquest comic books.
		Titles packaged by the newly-uncapitalized Warp for Apple included the anthology series FantaSci, Vietnam Journal, and Unicorn Isle by Lee Marrs, which only ran to 5 of a projected 12 issues.
		Warp and Father Tree Press still exist but are not currently publishing new books.

		I didn't spend weeks preparing the graphics of Warp just to have them gather dust because most people are too lousy players to get any further than level one.
		Another memory-saving strategy I've used in Warp is to load the graphics of each new level separately and throw them away when they are no longer needed.
		Warp needs ten graphics files - one for each level and one that holds the parts that make up the control panel and the things that remain constant at each level, like explosions.

		Her short story, "Windkin", was bought by WaRP Graphics, adapted to comic format, and published as a 1-issue short that appeared as issue #5 of the Elf Quest: New Blood comic series.
		WaRP Graphics also bought and adapted Vickie's short story, "Rock Shaper", and published it one month later as part of the Elf Quest: New Blood '93 Summer Special.
		Vickie was no longer writing short stories for WaRP Graphics to adapt, but was actively writing for comic format, as well as directing the art creation for her work.

	ElfQuest - Graphic Novels
		So far 5 different publishers have published more or less alike editions of the ElfQuest graphic novels; Starblaze/Donning, Titan, Father Tree Press, Warp Graphics and most recently and still in print are those by DC Comics.
		The graphic novels published byDC Comics feature are ones in colour similar to the previous graphic novels that have been published, only re-edited concerning colour and speechbubbles.
		Not all of the graphic novels published have numbers assigned and are standalones.

		Most graphic novels can be considered "director's cuts" of comics, for extra elements are often added to justify the price tag.

	VB Helper: HowTo: Draw a warped path in VB .NET
		VB.NET has the ability to warp a graphics path by mapping the corners of one quadrilateral to another.
		It then creates a source rectangle and a series of points that define where the corners of the rectangle should be mapped.
		That would be a useful transformation for three-dimensional graphics.

	WARP REPRINT ELFQUEST #1 (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-11-01)
		ELFQUEST was born because we had a story that wanted telling, and no one else (read: Marvel and DC) was willing to gamble on an untried fantasy tale by a couple of unknowns in the field.
		So we were led, more or less, to self-publication and to the creation of our own comics company-- WaRP Graphics (from Wendy and Richard Pini, in case you didn't know!).
		There have been many changes in many things--in ELFQUEST, in us, in comics as an artform and industry, in Warp Graphics (we even gave up the funky capitalization!)-- and yet, here we are back at square one, as if it were 1977 all over again.
