 Wag The Dog
The themes and plot to Wag the Dog, in all of their biting satire and perceived cynicism, are at heart a true exemplification of the ideas procured from Jean Baudrillard's three aforementioned works.
Wag the Dog exemplifies Baudrillard perfectly by simply demonstrating how mesmerising and seductive the image is. The images we see in the cinema, on CNN, and in our daily lives are reality in as much as they are what people sense, interpret, and trust.
Wag the Dog is also remarkably in tune with Baudrillard on a another level, as the film became remarkably prophetic in its story.

 Wag the Dog Movie Review
"Wag the Dog" is a subversive satire of the blurred distinction between politics and show business.
WTD certainly starts off strongly, with snappy dialogue and pointed observations about the absurd nihilism of political intrigue, but half-way through, the film seems to run out of steam, the caustic wit losing its acerbity under the weight of the inside-jokes and referential satire.
For example, we see Brean making his way through the White House through the eyes of the numerous video surveillance cameras, the war-planning effort is contorted through the water of Motss' swimming pool, and even the outcome of their efforts are reflected on the ceaseless video- and sound-bites.
