About Us -- Wah Lum Kung-Fu Athletic Association of Boston's Chinatown Wah Lum Kung Fu of the U.S.A. was started by Grandmaster Chan Pui in Boston’s Chinatown over 35 years ago. The Wah Lum Tam Tui Northern Praying Mantis system was created by Master Lee Kwan Shan when he combined the mantis system he had learned while living at the Wah Lum Temple with his family’s fighting style (Tam Tui “seeking leg”). Wah Lum Kung Fu of Tampa, FL The WAH LUM KUNG FU System is a Traditional Kung Fu system from China, rich with a long lineage and diverse history. Early in the morning as the monks were outside practicing their Praying Mantis techniques, this newest arrival began practicing his own unique style of Kung Fu known as "Tam Tui (seeking leg) Style." Soon, Lee Kwan Shan began questioning the other monks about this unique style and eventually they started to teach him their techniques.
