  Waimea (X Window System) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In Unix computing, Waimea is a light-weight window manager for the X Window System, designed somewhat in the vein of Blackbox.
Its development revived in 2004, and there is presently a homepage [2] at freedesktop.org as well as a note at its former sourceforge page [3] regarding new developments.
The new Waimea uses Cairo and SVG for graphics rendering, and XML for configuration files.
