		If I were Uziga I'd have the books published in the UK instead, where there's less fascist censorship nonsense, at least in regards to books and comics.

		It's just that Uziga is the new kid on the block and working in the medium of manga, which is very new to US and Western audiences and not very well respected (you only have to read this thread to find many examples).
		I don't see Uziga as someone who does this primarily to turn people one and I don't think that the majority of his audience sees his work as arousing pornography.
		There's a reason these things are rated 18+ (Uziga's website has a 18+ rating) and that is that people of that age and above are hopefully grounded enough in their lives, reality and morals to be able to expose themselves to this kind of stuff and not be instantly turned into child-raping killers.

		I appreciate and enjoy the work of Japanese horror masters including Junji Ito, Hideshi Hino, Go Nagai, Tamakichi Anaru, Daisuke Yamanouchi, Takashi Shimizu, Hideyuki Kikuchi and many others (although Waita Uziga's work is a bit strong even for my depraved tastes).
		So Hiroya Oku's Gantz should be a natural fit for me. Unfortunately, I don't think it's really very good, and I do think that much of the hype surrounding the title is mere smoke and mirrors.
